Respiration Module

Auto Scoring Mirror Tracer

The Auto Scoring Mirror Tracer is a tracing device used for evaluating reversal ability, hand-eye coordination and learning. The subject’s task is to trace the non-conducting black six-pointed star pattern (anodized into the aluminum surface) with a metal-tipped stylus as accurately and quickly as possible while watching only its mirror image (reflection of the star in the mirror).

The Complete Motorized Radial Arm Maze is a sophisticated system for measuring spatial learning and memory in rats, and allowing for control of visual, auditory, and olfactory cues. For many years it has been used primarily by pharmaceutical companies and in university research. Recently, however, the Complete Motorized Radial Arm Maze has emerged as a potential valuable system in the fight against terrorism (as well as drug trafficking). Dongle

The Dongle is a small, portable copy protection hardware device that plugs into a standard computer or laptop USB port. It is required for all test batteries and tests of the Psychological Assessment Tests system featured in the Special Ability Tests category on our website. The Dongle unlocks the system for the tests you select. The software can be loaded on multiple PCs but the dongle is needed to allow the PC to have all rights to your tests.

The EDA (electrodermal activity) electrode cable with finger plates is a reusable EDA sensor for the Computerized Biofeedback System, model AA86132. It connects to the EDA, Pulse, Temperature, and Motility Module, model AA86701.

EEG Cable Set

The EEG cables are designed for the Computerized Biofeedback System (model AA86132). They connect to the Bluetooth Module for EEG, model AA86704. The EEG Cable Set includes cables that connect to multi-clips, to which Disposable Electrodes (model AA86718) connect. Gold-cup electrodes may also be connected to the same cables. Gold-cup electrodes are cemented to the subject’s head.

EMG Cable Set

The EMG Cable Set for the Computerized Biofeedback System (model AA86132) consists of two (2) two-pole and one (1) one-pole electrode cables. The electrode cables are for use with standard "snap on" style Disposable Electrodes, model AA86718. The EMG Cable Set connects to the Two-Channel Electromyography Module, model AA86702.

Event Cable

The Event Cable allows for synchronization of data between the Computerized Biofeedback System, model AA86132, and the Psychological Assessment Tests, model AA86233. You can do this, for example, in order to monitor your client’s physiological reactions during computerized psychological testing.

Flicker Fusion Unit

The Flicker Fusion Unit is used in conjunction with the Flicker/Fusion Frequency test, model AA86168, to assess central-nervous activation (arousal), with the help of threshold values, when high frequency light is recognized as constant light. The AA86168 is one of the tests of the Psychological Assessment Tests system.

Headphones

These headphones are used for the isolated presentation of audio stimuli. Many of our tests present audio stimuli, and these headphones ensure the client can hear the stimuli without disturbing those around them. Motor Performance Unit

The Motor Performance Unit is a highly developed and highly accurate test designed according to Fleishman's factor analytical study of fine motor skills. It is used in conjunction with the Motor Performance Series test, model AA86172, which measures fine motor abilities through static and dynamic tasks for finger, hand, and arm movement.

Multi Sensor

This is a 3-sensor for the Computerized Biofeedback System, model AA86132, which can be easily attached to a single finger. The Velcro strap sensor includes gold plates for electrodermal activity (EDA) measurement, a built-in skin temperature sensor, and an LED pair to measure the pulse plethysmograph. The Multi Sensor connects to the EDA, Pulse, Temperature, and Motility Module, model AA86701.

Peripheral Perception Hardware

In executing a tracking task the respondent's attention is focused on the center of his/her field of vision. At the same time peripheral light stimuli are activated which cause the respondent to act in a selective manner. Radio Pyramid

Model AA86716

The USB radio pyramid is used with the Computerized Biofeedback System (model AA86132). It receives the radio module signals (wireless signals from the acquisition modules) and it also contains the user’s program licenses. The pyramid can be used with all standard computer systems. If an acquisition module moves briefly out of range, it is automatically reconnected; it is not necessary to restart the session.

Rectal Electrode

The Rectal Electrode for the Computerized Biofeedback System (model AA86132) is used for measurement of muscle tension in incontinence training. It connects to the Two-Channel Electromyography Module, model AA86702. The EMG Cable for Vaginal/Rectal Electrode, model AA86714, is required for connecting the Rectal Electrode to the module.

The AA86709 is a second respiration (non-wireless) module and belt for the Computerized Biofeedback System, model AA86132. It allows for measurement of both thoracic and abdominal breathing. It consists of a breathing module, breathing belt, and a connector that connects the Second Breathing Belt and Module Interconnect to the channel #2 of the Respiration Module, model AA86703, when both thoracic and abdominal breathing need to be recorded simultaneously.
